Born in Oroville, California, Frank Caffaratti moved to Reno as a young man. His father was one of the first physicians in Fallon, Nevada. After graduation from Sparks High School in 1973, Frank Caffaratti attended the University of Nevada Reno where he received his bachelor’s degree in medical science and biology. He subsequently attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, where he received in DDS in 1981. That same year, he returned to Sparks to start his private practice. Even though his college days are behind him, Dr. Caffaratti continues to study the latest changes and advances in dentistry. He has attended some of the most prominent dental institutions in the country, studying a wide spectrum of cosmetic and restorative specialties. Dr. Caffaratti is a graduate of the prestigious Misch Institute, where he earned his Mastership Degree in Dental Implantology. Dr. Caffaratti is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, the Northern Nevada Dental Association, the International Congress of Implantology, the World Laser Clinical Institute and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also belongs to a variety of study clubs. Outside of the office, Dr. Caffaratti enjoys spending time with his family, and his hunting dogs, Anne and JoJo, chasing the elusive chukar that Nevada has to offer. He also likes hunting, fishing, trapshooting, and riding motorcycles. Dr. Caffaratti also enjoys smalltime ranching with his livestock and hay production.
